On his retirement, William E. Thomas sat down to write a novel.

After years of toil, The Cypress Branches, a 350,000 word epic, was the result.

Shortly after finishing it, he started to fall ill and was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. It seemed that William's dream of seeing his novel published were over.

But his Grandson Mike wasn't prepared to see the story end there. Now, 15 years after it was finished, the project is underway to get The Cypress Branches into print and into the hands of readers who will love it.

It is probably too late for William E. Thomas to understand that someone is reading and enjoying the work he committed decades of his life to writing. But for what it’s worth, I’m announcing it anyway
